Dr. John DeCato attended Podiatric Medical School in Des Moines, Iowa and completed his surgical residency in Toledo, Ohio. Dr. Decato has been practicing in Ashtabula, Ohio for over 30 years.
Dr. DeCato has been active in the American Cancer Society board and has also served on multiple committees with the Ashtabula County Medical Center, where is a longtime member of the Medical Executive Committee and one-time Board President.

He is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
