About Dr. Ian Barron, DPM, FACFAS
Board Certified Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgeon
He is very active in the training and development of new podiatrists through his work as Division Chief of Podiatry at OhioHeath Doctors Hospital and as the Assistant Director of Research and a Teaching Faculty Member for the OhioHealth Grant Medical Center foot and ankle reconstruction residency program. He is very involved in research and publishing in the field of podiatry, with a long list of scholarly publications and leadership positions. Here’s one of his latest articles: “Shortening of the First Ray With Hallux Valgus Correction – How Short Is Too Short?”
In his free time he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, playing golf, and cooking, especially with his smoker. He lives in Powell with his wife and they are expecting their first child.
